Marie's World Blog Tour

Blurb:

Marie's World tells a tale of love gone wrong, of doing the right thing even if it hurts and how to survive when your world is turned upside down.  Famed dancer, actress and Reality TV star Marie returns from LA to her hometown in Scotland to escape the fall-out from the damaging revelations in her twin sister Layla's thinly-disguised novel. As she attempts to rebuild her life and career with her partner Derek, Marie's long-repressed memories and emotions come flooding to the surface, and she finds herself menaced by the world of her former husband, the only man she has ever truly loved and now her most dangerous adversary.

Snippet:

Marie,” Perthlin whispered into her ear and she tensed up at hearing Perthlin’s voice again. He made flames explode through her. Taking her very breath away. She went to shoot out a dance move and he held onto her tighter. He stopped her from doing it and the way he held her arm was a warning of what he’d do to her if she drew attention to them.
“Perthlin,” she answered him and he pulled her against him for a moment so she disappeared into his body’s presence. They moved in time together. His voice though when he spoke again wasn’t as patient as his movements were. She could tell he came here with a mission. One which wasn’t going to end well because she wasn’t going to give him what he wanted.
“Call him, he wants you home.” Perthlin sounded frustrated himself and he leaned against her. His hard body felt all too familiar, after all this wasn’t the first time they got themselves into this position. When Harold left her, he sent Perthlin to keep an eye on her before. If only he knew what his brother did when he wasn’t watching. It would make Harold’s world explode.
“What does he want?” Marie asked and felt Perthlin stroke his hand up her arm. She did her best to not pull away and he now threw her out, she spun, he pulled her right back in. His hand found her stomach and he kept them out of the eye line of Derek. She guessed her dance partner now stood at the bar.
“He wants you home and he wants you to dump the idiot you’re trying to make him jealous with.” There was a warning in his voice and it had more to do with Harold’s message. Perthlin also sent her a message and she planned on ignoring it just like she would do Harold’s.
“What happens if I don’t want to come home?” Marie asked and pushed Perthlin to see how serious he was. She guessed the more she pushed the more she would let Harold know how much of a backbone she had managed to grow.
“Well I will deal with lover boy, I have no problem spanking you, then dragging you back to him kicking and screaming.” Perthlin warned and applied pressure to Marie’s arm
